My Virtual Mothership

Oh y’all.  Do you know about Olioboard?  When Beth from Home Stories A to Z mentioned a contest going on and encouraged people to enter, I revisited the site; when it first started a few years ago, I signed up and spent a little time on it…but my computer wasn’t playing nice with the program and I gave up.

I am so glad I started up again this week. You know why I like it so much?  In about 20 minutes I can virtually complete what would take me years to finish in my own home. 😉  Now I’m dreaming up room design.  Literally.  I’ve only completed 5 rooms, but my time is limited; next time Erick has a boys’ day out with the kiddos, I might very well pop a movie in, plant my rear on the couch, and design rooms for hours on end.

This is what you can do!!  I even popped some of our canvas letters and prints in; although there is a wealth of items to choose from, you can upload your own as well.  Too cool!

If you are interested at ALL, Beth’s post right here is a great tutorial.  I’d highly recommend watching the video.  I’m so glad I did.  And come play with me here!  There is a super fun communtiy to interact and follow along with.

Alright, I have a wealth of cool things to share with you soon; we were spotted in one of my favorite online publications.  Woohoo!  We have family visiting and we are headed out the door to spend time in Camden today though…must get a move on.  Have a super weekend!!

    Jen,
Thanks for sharing this. I have been visiting a very limited number of blogs lately due to my lack of time {yours will always be on my must read list!} so I didn’t see Beth’s post and know nothing about Olioboard. I will use it as I am constantly in a state of frustration with our family room layout. See you there soon!
    Your Friend,
    Deborah
